In privacy settings, the USER may choose whether or not to appear in professional searches performed by companies, at their discretion; and the COMPANY selects what it wants (team, notifications, account and plan).

  • 1.2 Communication System Between the Parties

    BURH’s service communications with the Parties may be made through BURH’s communication channels, including but not limited to: email, landline phone, mobile phone, WhatsApp, SMS, or through the “feed” on the Parties’ platform page.

    1.3 Acceptance and updates to the privacy policy

    By creating their account, the USER and the COMPANY accessed and formally accepted BURH’s terms of use and privacy policy. As BURH is constantly evolving, it requests that the USER and the COMPANY periodically review the privacy policy and terms of use.
    Services offered by BURH may be conditioned on a new acceptance by the Parties when the TCU and Privacy Policy are updated. BURH itself, when changing its TCU, notifies the Parties via email, chat and on the profile page on the platform.

    1.4 Non-acceptance of the Privacy Policy by the Parties

    If the Parties do not agree with the content of this Privacy Policy, they are absolutely free to decide whether or not they want to use the services provided by BURH.

    1.5 Activity logging

    We may log the activities that the Parties perform when using our platform, creating, when possible and applicable, logs (records of activities carried out on the platform and applications and services) that may contain: access and actions performed by you on the provided service, information about the device used, such as operating system version, browser and geolocation.

    1.6 Information we collect from the USER

    We collect various personal data when you register on BURH for job opportunities. Below is the information collected and stored on our platform:

    I. All data contained in the résumé: (personal data, address, companies you worked for and dates, career objective, last salary and expected salary, schools and colleges attended or being attended, mobile and landline phone numbers, dates of these changes, among others included in the résumé).
    II. Surveys, exams, tests and assessments you chose and completed on BURH.
    III. Information you provide when registering or signing up on our platform, such as email, IP, date and time of access.
    IV. Details of your visits to this platform, including traffic data, location data, logs and other communication data.

    1.7 Information we collect from the COMPANY

    We collect various data when you register your company on BURH to search for professionals. Below is the information collected and stored on our platform:

    I. Company data, corporate name, CNPJ, names of company representatives, among others.
    II. All data contained in job descriptions: (job title, profile description, salary offer, among others).
    III. Questionnaires and tests created by your company, as well as the USER’s responses when completing them.
    IV. Information you provide when registering or signing up on our platform, such as email and IP.
    V. Details of your visits to this platform, including traffic data, location data, logs and other communication and record data.

    1.8 Origin of your personal data

    You may request that BURH inform you which third parties it shared your personal data with or from whom it received your personal data by emailing: [email protected]

    1.9 Confirmation of processing of your personal data

    I. To allow the USER to participate in hiring selection processes according to their profile, and for professional searches within the hiring party’s desired profile.
    II. To recommend USERS for open positions and recommend open positions to USERS.
    III. To improve our platform and services, send periodic emails, and notify you of changes to our services or terms.
    IV. To develop and improve our services.
    V. To comply with our legal obligations.

    1.11 Updating the Parties’ information

    If it is necessary to update your information, the Parties may do so directly on the website through login access, updating their information whenever they wish.

    1.12 Publishing testimonials on the web

    If the Parties participate in surveys conducted by BURH, whether satisfaction surveys, testimonials about platform usage, marketing interviews or personal testimonials, the Parties agree that their profile, including their photo, may be published on BURH’s social networks for advertising purposes.


    2. Information security system and account cancellation

    Burh is concerned about the privacy of the Parties’ information and uses a cloud information security system provided by a specialized company, which protects against third parties, hackers, among others. We implement a variety of information security measures to maintain the security of the Parties’ information when you make a request or enter, submit or access the Parties’ information.

    2.1 Cancellation / interruption by the Parties; limitation of liability and security system

    The BURH service is provided for an indefinite term; however, the USER and the COMPANY may cancel these services at any time through BURH’s communication channels at [email protected] or while logged into Meu Burh.

    2.2 Information security and limitation of BURH’s liability

    BURH undertakes to keep the USER’s résumé and the COMPANIES’ information secure and online. The Parties acknowledge and agree that because BURH is a web platform, it is exposed to third-party attacks and, under no circumstances, can be held liable for any damages caused by such intrusions or by third parties with the same interests.

    2.3 Public data for viewing and disclosure

    The USER is aware that their résumé and other information entered into BURH may be viewed by various COMPANIES, including the company where they may currently work. The USER knows and acknowledges that BURH cannot be held liable, under any circumstances, for any damages suffered as a result of their résumé being viewed on BURH by their current employer or by a third-party company.

    2.4 Processing of the Parties’ information

    The Parties’ personal data may only be processed with their authorization and for related purposes. By reading this Privacy Policy, the Parties agree to and authorize the conditions for processing personal data as described herein. Please note that processing personal data is a necessary condition for us to provide our services with quality to the Parties.

    2.5 Third-party indexing companies on the web

    Profile data of the USER or the COMPANY may be indexed on the Internet by generic search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, Indeed and other pages that use "robots" to index content and photos on the Internet, without any approval from BURH; that is, it is independent of BURH’s actions.

    2.6 No commercialization of the Parties’ information

    BURH does not assign or sell the USER’s or the COMPANY’s registration information. COMPANIES registered on BURH will have access to all information of USERS registered in the BURH résumé, their tests, and possible assessments and interviews; tests, assessments and interviews applied by a company are for that company’s exclusive use and will not be made available to other hiring companies.


    3. User’s data controller

    When registering on the platform, the USER provides personal data and data contained in résumés. By accepting the terms of this Privacy Policy, you are aware that the controller of your personal data (the company responsible for making decisions about the processing of your personal data) is BURH.


    4. Questions, complaints, ombudsman and data subject rights

BURH is not responsible for any possible loss of information stored by the hiring COMPANY.


    7. Use of cookies

    We adopt a cookie system for service delivery. BURH uses cookies for computer address, browsing data, device data, geolocation to recommend jobs or USERS near their region, ID, operating system and browser.


    8. Tools: Video Interview

    BURH offers a video interview tool through its own partner via “APIs”, at no cost to the USER. The USER expressly agrees to be interviewed via video interviews with possible recording. By using this feature, the USER consents that they may be evaluated for selection processes and that their interview may be recorded and stored by the hiring COMPANY. If the USER does not want to participate in the video interview, they may ignore the request at the time of the call.
